Meet the Owners

Franklin Haignere

Franklin has many qualities that are a wonderful asset to Interactive Playgrounds. His business, organizational, and management skills bring cohesion and a thoroughness to both the company and our events. Although Franklin enjoys hiking, sailing, cycling and skiing, as well as playing baseball and basketball, he spends most of his free time with his wife Robyn and their three sons.  Franklin graduated from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Law where he obtained his J.D. and from the University of California at San Diego where he received a B.A. in Political Science.

Joel Rickards

Joel graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in management. He has a strong business and marketing background with eight years of customer service experience. Joel has been intensely involved with the special events and interactive game industry for the last year. He has a thorough knowledge of sales and operations within the industry having worked closely with management of event planning companies. He is extremely motivated and highly personable. When not working, Joel habitually practices motion conservation and renegade acting.

Galen Olsen

Galen has been with Interactive Playgrounds since forever and his knowledge and experience in the indusry reflects it.  When asking some of his peers for words to describe him, some friendly replies were; Hard-working, honest, family-orientated, scientific, Marty Scottenheimer, and WoW.  Galen and his wife Rachele have two daughters, the Gabster and Corrie (aka the “Destroyer of Legos”).  Some of their skills include art, un-organizing, dancing, and throwing.  Galen has a B.S. in Physiology and a B.A. in Accounting.

Andy Haignere

Andy brings a playful personality to the company. As an elementary education major and a physical education minor, his goal is to make sure that everybody has a great experience with our attractions. He has a strong work ethic that has allowed him to travel to many different places to show off his hidden talents and his understanding of customer service. Andy has experience working in the gaming industry during the peak season. In his free time he enjoys skiing, playing ultimate Frisbee¨, mountain biking, and other relaxing activities like fishing and playing a few holes of golf.
